This coatings thickness gauge is available in three versions, Basic, Standard and Memory, each with a different level of functionality. The Basic version, model FN1, has a built in probe using magnetic and eddy current principles to measure coating thickness on ferrous and non ferrous (FNF) metals, accurately and quickly. The Standard version, model FN2, has FN1 functionality plus can store up to 250 readings and has other features such as USB and IR port for printing. The Memory version, model FN3, has the highest functionality as it can store up to 10,000 readings in up to 1000 batches, date and time for each reading and is supplied with PosiSoft software and USB cable. Each gauge model has a 2 year warranty and comes supplied as standard with case, batteries, calibration foils and calibration certificate.

This hand held non-contact coating thickness gauge uses high frequency ultrasound to analyse powder coatings that have been applied to a substrate and then indicates a predicted cured coating thickness.
